For our founder, Kelcy Wilson, architectural design has been a lifelong passion. While other children were doodling in the margins of their notebooks, Kelcy was drawing floor plans and interior designs in hers. Some of her favorite memories are attending the Parade of Homes, perhaps stealing a few extra copies of the floor plan pamphlets and capturing the flow of those designs into her own imagination.

This early fascination was deepened by Kelcy's personal heritage. She spent 18 months living in Northern Italy—specifically, the Veneto region, where she has deep family roots—immersing herself in the local culture and learning to adore the timeless beauty of Italian architecture. This experience was transformative; seeing how centuries of history were held within beautifully crafted walls inspired her to pursue architectural design even more fervently and ultimately provided the name for her company.

This passion evolved into a rigorous professional pursuit, leading her to earn a degree in Virtual Design and Construction. Before establishing Veneto Home Design, Kelcy honed her skills within architectural firms, gaining experience in both residential and commercial drafting. Today, she channels that expertise exclusively into the residential sector. She ensures that every client receives the meticulous attention to detail required to bring a custom home, basement, or any other home improvement dream to life.
